FRISE D’UNE MONTAGNE INFINIE
In my work, I confront the fascination I have for landscape with the concept of infinite landscape. In this installation, I create a frieze via the digital editing, a little bit like the panoramas that display what we should look in a determinate landscape.
Here, my fascination of landscape confront itself with the materiality of digital blanking and numerical manipulation. The mountain’s representation is transformed in a simple decoration’s pattern. Thus, every frieze is different and its length or pattern depends on the location it is installed in.
